Saina Nehwal Wins Indonesian Open.
Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal won the third Super Series Title in row by registering a thumping victory in Indonesian Open final on June 27, 2010 in Jakarta. Nehwal, the defending Champion of 2009 won 21-19, 13-21, 21-11 against Japanese apponent Sayaka Sato. She looked rusty against Sato in the Second game which Nehwal lost 13-21. But the later half, Nehwal came out of rustiness and stamped her authority over Sato in the final game. The victory likely to lift her to world number 2 rankings. Saina’s rise to badminton’s leader began from the same place last yeara when se turned out the first Indian shuttler to win a super series event in Indonesia.
